Wonderfully creative work Joe...one of my favorite monikers for a group of animals is a "Confusion Of Guinea", which is perfect for these spastic creatures

The title got me in, but never the less interesting artwork and great description....I read it all.....and I agree crows can't sing; and to be honest their sound around here make me think of death and dying.....no wonder they have the reputation they have! f/l/tw

🙂 the title .. thank you Leanne !

Artist's Description

The term “murder of crows” mostly reflects a time when groupings of many animals had colorful and poetic names. Other odd examples of “group” names include: an ostentation of peacocks, a parliament of owls, a knot frogs, and a skulk of foxes...not to mention a whack of weasels. Many people fear them simply because of their black feathers, which are often associating them with death.

Crows are undeniably intelligent, however they cannot sing worth a damn.

As a teenager, I learned to develop film while working at Wyle Laboratories in El Segundo. I still recall the smell of the developer, my eyes adjusting to the red filter light, and the sheer magic and delight of watching images begin to emerge. Life, family and a career as a teacher and psychologist intervened, not to mention a few more film cameras. Eventually, there was digital. Liberation! Photography is the creative medium that has allowed me to share personal ...
