Description
The summertime harvest at "Schofield Farms" always includes cucumbers, usually Japanese (Kyuri). They tend to be long and slender, generally with bumpy skins. They peel easily enough, but most often we leave the skin on and slice. I just recently harvested several, and found these two guys sharing the same stem: conjoined. "They" are back in the fridge after a session in front of the camera, and soon to be finely sliced and served with ichimi togarashi and a little red wine vinegar.
