Description
Neil told us, "Rust never sleeps." That is clearly the case for this rock and steel jetty in Playa Del Rey. The beaches are wide, and aside from the bike path traffic, this spot is fairly open and unused. A great spot to sit and allow yourself to be found.

This image has a wonderful surreal quality that I like, Joe...not sure why, but the contrast between the bird in flight and the one posing quietly made me laugh...L/F

Joe, What a great shot capturing everything old and new in the ocean, love the rusted out jetty, the rocks piling up against it and the seaweed and algae forming on the rocks. Even the small detail of the water rolling past the jetty in the foreground has such detail to it along with the waves in the background breaking with the white water. Great job, voted and FB promoted
