Artist's Description

CA Hwy 178 headed southeast out of Death Valley. Don’t usually travel this way, but it offers a long and contemplative respite prior to the madness of the I - 10 interstate to come.
A sweet little spot for breakfast in Shoshone: The Crowbar Cafe & Saloon.
A long, straight road stretches into the distance, flanked by rocky, arid terrain under a vast, partly cloudy sky. The perspective emphasizes the emptiness and solitude of the desert landscape.
