On this brisk & sunny Saline Valley morning, a slow and contemplative decent into the labyrinth begins. A perfect spot for meditation. A perfect moment to let go.
The Inyo Mountains in the background create a rain curtain, separating the Sierras from this remote northwestern area of DVNP known as Saline Valley. Here, facing west, the Sierra Nevadas lie just beyond the Inyos.

🙂 … I know. Limited time for an extended meditation. Lugging stones in Death Valley makes for a shorter labyrinth.
