Description
An oil effect BW image with red filter, this image was taken just after dawn at the Racetrack Playa - an ancient dry lake bed, located in a remote northwestern section of Death Valley, CA. In the foreground is an example of one of the "mysterious" sliding rocks on the playa, and the trail left behind. Far off in the distance is snow covered Mt. Hunter. Winter in DV!
