The watchers of The Wedge. When it breaks at the Wedge, it is an event. When nature decides to create the moment, a day of heavy surf in California can bring the curious out to the edge of 4 to 5 ft. drop-offs where monster surf erodes the beach sand. The experienced and the hardy will body surf as the curious like me gather on the shore to photograph them... Joe. 9-1-11
