Description
From atop the "switch-backs" just before descending Palos Verdes Dr. east, along the California coast. Fall, 2011, and a rather nasty storm cel hovering over the Pacific says the party is over, time to pack up because you are going to get whacked! "Real" weather in sunny southern California, that is, stuff that looks like this - is rare. But ... when it occurs, we can get pounded with monsoonal moisture working its way up the Baja peninsula.

What a storm! You want to stay and watch it, but, as your title advises, it might be time to go. Rather quickly.
