Bring water. The Inyo Mountains cradle the western edges of Death Valley, and essentially act as a "rain curtain", blocking whatever precipitation may have made its way east. It is a forbidding yet stunningly unique and beautiful landscape. It is always beckoning me. Did I say bring water?
